Force India shows new livery for 2015 F1 season
Force India's VJM08 F1 car features a combination of silver and black along with orange accent

The opening race of the 2015 Formula One (F1) season is just a couple of months away. With this, F1 teams are starting to reveal their respective challengers for the coveted championship title.
Aside from the Williams Martini Racing, the Sahara Force India F1 team has unveiled the VJM08 at the Soumaya Museum in Mexico. The team presented its 2015 F1 car at the said museum in order to promote the return of the Mexican Grand Prix slated on Nobember 1. The Mexican GP has absent from the F1 calendar for more than two decades. Force India drivers Sergio Perez and Nico Hulkenberg led the unveiling ceremonies of the team's 2015 F1 car.
At first glance, you can instantly notice the team's new livery. The VJM08 features a combination of silver and black along with orange accent, a traditional color of the Force India F1 team. Overall, the livery of the VJM08 replaces the team's former combination of white and green.

Force India Team Principal Dr. Vijay Mallya says their new livery represents the growth of the team.
“It’s another evolution of the contemporary look we introduced last year, which reflects the growth of the team. I love the addition of silver, which makes the car appear more sleek and aggressive and I’m sure it’s something that will appeal to the fans as well,” Mallya said.
Other than the new livery, Force India says the VJM08 received significant design changes such as lowering the front of the chassis and nose. It will also feature a modified sculpting of the sidepods, new cooling intakes and a redesigned rear suspension layout. As of this writing, the engine specifications of the VJM08 has yet to be officially announced by Force India.
Force India's challenger for the 2015 F1 season is expected to make its track testing debut in Barcelona next month.
