Filipino race car driver Enzo Pastor murdered in QC
Police point to targeted killing of Pastor, no suspects yet

Race car driver and motorsport organizer Ferdinand 'Enzo' Pastor was shot dead last night in Quezon City.
Based on multiple reports, the circumstances regarding the killing involve a suspect, reportedly waiting at the scene, who walked up to the cab of a flatbed car transporter carrying one of the Asian V8 Championship cars while stopped at the intersection of Visayas corner Congressional Avenue.
Upon confirming that Pastor was driving, the suspect opened fire with a 45 caliber pistol multiple times. Four 45ACP shell casings were found on the scene. The suspect fled with an accomplice aboard a motorcycle.
Enzo Pastor died while en route to the hospital. The assistant beside Pastor was also wounded but survived.
Police are currently investigating the motivation for the murder.
Pastor, already an accomplished international race car driver in Asian Formula 3 and Euro NASCAR, is the organizer behind Circuit Showdown. He is also the leading driver behind the Asian V8 Championship, a series organized by his father Tom Pastor, that uses late model V8-powered stock cars in the Philippines.
Enzo is survived by his wife Dalia Guerrero-Pastor and their two sons.
