The 2014 FIA World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) is set to begin at the Circuit Moulay El Hassan in Morocco on April 12-13. The FIA has also confirmed that twenty-two cars have entered the 2014 WTCC on a full season basis.
The upcoming WTCC season has sixteen TC1 vehicles ranging from four Honda Civics, three Citroën C-Elysées, three LADA Grantas, and six Chevrolet RML Cruzes. On the other hand, according to the FIA WTCC, there will be an additional Citroën that will be entered for five events later in the season.
The TC2 class will consist of two BMWs from the Liqui Moly Team Engstler; three SEATs from the Campos Racing; and the other entry will be from Nika Racing who will soon announce the car they will run.
Onyx Race Engineering informed the FIA that they will not be able to participate in this year’s WTCC, despite having announced their plans to do so earlier this year.
