Ferrari's Le Mans hypercar looks like a Batmobile
Ferrari hypercar to race in 2023 24 Hours of Le Mans

Ferrari is returning as a factory team to the pinnacle of sports car racing after 50 years, and their newest challenger looks like it came out of the garage of Gotham City's masked vigilante.
The Ferrari hypercar has completed its shakedown laps in the Fiorano circuit and though it was running under heavy camouflage, the Italian manufacturer won't be able to obscure the huge rear wing endplates that make the car look like a Batmobile.
Two-time world endurance champion Alessandro Pier Guidi and Nicklas Nielsen carried out the planned test program, which kicks off the extensive testing period for the Ferrari LMH project ahead of its debut in the 2023 season of the World Endurance Championship.
While the Maranello-based team has yet to reveal details of the Ferrari LMH race car's powertrain, we have good reason to believe that the hypercar may be powered by a V6 engine based on its exhaust note.
Ferrari is taking the challenge of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2023 with not just the LMH hypercar, but also with the upcoming 296 race car co-developed with Oreca that will compete in the GTE class.
The Prancing Horse LMH hypercar is set to compete in what would be the all-star game of endurance racing next year, as manufacturers like Porsche, BMW, Peugeot, and Cadillac are returning to try and break Toyota Gazoo Racing's win streak at Le Mans. 2023 can't come soon enough for sportscar racing.
