Ferrari names 2013 F1 racecar F138
Ferrari has revealed the name for its 2013 Formula One racecar as the F138

Ferrari has revealed the name for its 2013 Formula One racecar as the F138. The fifty-ninth Ferrari F1 race car will make its debut in Ferrari’s Maranello plant on February 1st. The name was chosen to pay tribute to the last season of the V8 engine; ending eight appropriate years of the high-revving eight cylinder engine.
For 2014, F1 rules have required constructors to use engines with smaller displacements and fewer cylinders. Ferrari has announced that it will be using a 1.6-liter turbocharged V6 engine for its 2014 car.
No further details were revealed about the F138 aside from the prior announcement that Felipe Massa will be tasked to make the car’s track debut at Jerez on February 5.
