Eurasia Motorsport renews partnership with Aston Martin
Philippine-based Eurasia Motorsport, Aston Martin Racing renew partnership for 2016-2017 Asian Le Mans

Philippine-based Eurasia Motorsport will once again enter the GT3 class in the Asian Le Mans series for the 2016-2017 season. The team is set to enter the class with Aston Martin and renews its partnership with the British marque.
The team has previously entered Aston Martins in the past. Eurasia ran the Aston Martins under the Craft Banner back in 2013, successfully winning an entry to the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
"We are really happy to renew our association with Aston Martin, having run the car successfully in GT Asia, achieving a podium finish in the Dubai 24H and gaining an entry for the Le Mans 24H. The team knows the car very well, we will receive engineering back up from Aston Martin Racing and we are confident with the right driver line-up we can win the GT Class," said Mark Goddard, Team Principal of Eurasia Motorsport.

For the next season of Asian Le Mans, the team will be running an Aston Martin Vantage GT3. It runs on a modified version of Aston Martin’s production 6.0 liter V12 engine. The upgrades raises output to over 600 PS with 700 Nm of torque. It is then mated to an Xtrac six-speed sequential transmission with semi-automatic paddle shift gear change. For its suspension, it rides on four-way adjustable Bilstein dampers.
Eurasia Motorsport currently runs the ORECA 05 Nissan in European Le Mans, having finished sixth in the 2015 ELMS with an ORECA 03R, and it had an entry with the ORECA in this year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans. The Asian Le Mans Series starts at the end of October at Zhuhai in China, moving on to Fuji in December and finishing in January at Buriram in Thailand and Sepang, Malaysia.
