After a break of 1 year the Petron-SVI 4 hour Endurance race returns to the Subic Bay area as the main feature of the Philippine Motorsports Festival on November 24, 2007. The 2007 Enduro will be open to a variety of vehicle in several class. With a minimum of two (2) drivers it is a cost-effective way for drivers to get a taste circuit racing without the intense performance requirement of a sprint race. The variety of classes will allow drivers to race the cars they use in different championships. Joining the event will be the living legend of Philippine Motorsports Pocholo Ramirez, sharing the driving duties will an old friend and competitor, John MacDonald. John was South East Asia's premiere single seater driver in the 70's, winning the Macau GP twice. With Louis Ramirez as the third driver their combined ages exceed 150 years, who says you have to retire from racing. They will face a mix new talent and experienced racers, it will be an interesting competition.
Also on the schedule Saturday November 24, 2007 is the Petron Treats Miata Challenge, TRS Ford Focus Cup, and Manila Sports Car Club Classic Car races. Sunday November 25, 2007 will feature the final round of the Diamond Rent a Car Run What You Brung 2007 Championship. With the Drivers Championship and Team Championship still up for grabs, it will be a nail biting final round. Than there is the MSCC Annual Hillclimb that allows classic cars and modern exotics to race up a closed stretch of wining road. So prepare yourself for a fun day of motorsports festivities and make your way to Subic, you won't be disappointed.
