Citroen Total Abu Dhabi World Rally Team equips their cars with aerodynamic upgrades and new livery

The Citroën Total Abu Dhabi World Rally Team has revealed the updated DS 3 WRC vehicles which sports a new livery as well as a redesigned front end.
According to Citroën Racing Team Principal Yves Matton, the team's DS 3 WRCs are fitted with a revamped bumper and wings which increases the vehicles' downforce as well as reduce drag.
“Citroën Racing hasn’t stopped working on the development of DS 3 WRC since the current regulations were introduced in 2011. The aerodynamic upgrades introduced here should help us to keep improving. Confirmed during wind tunnel and pre-event testing, the gains achieved in terms of drag coefficient and downforce are significant,” said Matton.

Aside from the aerodynamic upgrades, the Citroën Total Abu Dhabi World Rally Team drivers were able to customized their respective roof in order to identify which driver is driving each particular model. With this, Kris Meeke will have a white roof while grey for Mads Østberg and red for Khalid Al-Qassimi.
The updated Citroën cars are set make their debut during Rally de Portugal on May 21.
