Carlos Sainz to drive for two more seasons with Ferrari
Sainz extends Ferrari contract until 2024

We’ll see the smooth operator in red for two more years.
Carlos Sainz has agreed to a two-year extension with Scuderia Ferrari. And as it stands, the Maranello squad’s driver lineup will remain unchanged, at least until 2024.

Sainz joined Ferrari in 2021 after a brief stint with McLaren. In his maiden season with the Prancing Horse, he managed to outscore teammate Charles Leclerc over the course of the season.
Because of their impressive showing in 2021, Sainz and Leclerc are seen as one of the best driver pairings in Formula One. Their youth, consistency, and sheer pace have helped the Prancing Horse recapture its place on the sharp end of the grid.

Ferrari currently has the upper hand in the 2022 constructors’ championship battle as the F1-75 proved to be both quick and reliable. Leclerc is leading the drivers’ championship, while Sainz remains third despite having a DNF at the last race in Australia.
He may have had a bad weekend at Melbourne, but we’ll see the Spaniard back in action this weekend at the Formula 1 Rolex Gran Premio del Made in Italy e Dell’Emilia-Romagna 2022.
