At the First Leg of the 2011 RMSC Slalom Invitational held in San Fernando, La Union last April 9, Cabanatuan native Michael Mendoza of Team Tool Box captured the Overall, Production and Front Wheel Classes' Best Time by clocking a 39.16-second time.
Mendoza's teammate Don Calamanan topped the Novice Class best time of the day by clocking in at 40.00-seconds, capturing 2nd best time for the day as well. Jet Ramos of Team JDA BENIL Baguio finished 3rd with the time of 41.56-seconds. Imay Datu of BAF took 4th with a time of 41.64-seconds and 5th place went to Ramzy Kairuz who clocked in at 41.68-seconds.
