Awards night caps successful 2003 Civic Media Challenge season

The 2003 Civic Media Challenge successfully ended with the awarding of trophies and prizes to the winners of the 6th and most exciting season of the annual rallycross competition hosted by Honda Cars Philippines for media practitioners and celebrities.
Team Philippine Star and Manila Bulletin's Anjo Perez were crowned champions of the 6th Civic Media Challenge at the awarding party held at the Sidebar Café at El Pueblo last Thursday.
Also bringing home trophies and cash prizes were Team Manila Bulletin and C! Magazine-Auto Extreme, second and third runners-up, respectively in the team competition.
Dodjie Aguila of Today and Jess Garcia of DZRH received medals for coming in second and third in the individual points standings.
All participants who attended at least 3 of the 4 rounds of the series and got to hone their performance and safe driving skills on dirt and tarmac courses got medals and certificates of participation in the competition.
The 2003 Civic Media Challenge drew participants from media outlets including Motoring Today, Auto Extreme and Associated Press for television; DZBB, DZMM, DZEC, DZRH and 103.5 K-Lite for radio; Business World, Manila Bulletin, The Philippine Star, Philippine Daily Inquirer, Manila Standard, Today, C! Magazine, Gadgets, and Sport Weekly for print. Participants were also drawn from leading motoring websites which include Autoindustriya.com, Dragracingpinoy.com. and Drive.com.ph.
The Civic Media Challenge was organized by ADBM Resources in partnership with Activity Asia Association and Roadwise Motoring School.
Sponsors of the 2003 Civic Media Challenge include Caltex Havoline, Michelin, the official tire supplier thru its Philippine distributor Tiara Commercial & Industrial Corporation; Nodalos Trading, and Aitech.
