Audi Sport Asia partners with Phoenix Racing
Audi Sport Asia and Phoenix Racing is set to compete in the 2015 Blancpain Endurance Series in Europe

Audi Sport customer racing Asia will team up with Phoenix Racing to compete in the 2015 Blancpain Endurance Series in Europe.
According to Rene Koneberg, Director of Audi Sport customer racing Asia, the company's participation in the Blancpain Endurance Series is another step towards the integration of Audi Sport in Asia and Europe. Koneberg added that Audi Asia's partnership with Phoenix Racing will further elevate their development program in motorsport.
“The entry in the Blancpain Endurance Series is another step in the integration between the Audi Sport platforms in Asia and Europe. Phoenix Racing is one of the most successful and experienced motorsport teams worldwide. The partnership will further elevate our development program for young Asian talents like Shaun Thong”, said Rene Koneberg, Director of Audi Sport customer racing Asia.
Through this partnership, Phoenix Racing will enter an Audi R8 LMS ultra in the GT3 championship. The team will have an Asian-European driver line-up featuring the reigning Nürburgring champion Markus Winkelhock along with two drivers from Hong Kong: 2012 Audi R8 LMS Cup champion Marchy Lee and 18 year-old Shaun Thong.
