2021 F1 season will start in Bahrain this March 28
Formula 1 Season starts this March 28 in Bahrain, are you ready?

Every year, the Formula 1 season starts in Australia with the Australian Grand Prix. Last year, however, was an exception. The pandemic canceled the race at the last minute, along with half of the original 2020 season calendar. It seems a similar situation is happening this 2021 as Australia will not be holding the Formula 1 season opener.
Formula 1 organizers have announced the updated 2021 calendar, and instead of Australia, the season opener will be held in Bahrain this coming March 28, 2021. Don't worry, the Australian Grand Prix is not canceled. Instead, it will be postponed later in the calendar. Based on the new season calendar, the Australian Grand Prix is scheduled for November 18 – 21, 2021.
Aside from the Australian Grand Prix, the 2021 Chinese Grand Prix will not take place on its planned date as well. Supposedly the second race of the season, the Chinese Grand Prix will be replaced by Imola to fill in the slot. At the moment, discussions to reschedule the race are still ongoing.

Interestingly, there is still a missing race in the 2021 season calendar. The third race of the season has yet to be decided. The calendar only says TBC. For reference, this was supposed to be the Vietnamese Grand Prix. However, what was supposed to be Vietnam's first Formula 1 race was canceled last year.
Based on the latest calendar, there will be 23 races in the 2021 Formula 1 season. Should things go as planned, there shouldn't be any cancelations anymore. Better yet, expect to see fans make a return to the grandstands as well.
“It has been a busy start to the year at Formula 1 and we are pleased to confirm that the number of races planned for the season remains unchanged,” said Stefano Domenicali, president, and CEO of Formula 1.
2021 will be an exciting season for Formula 1 after all the driver changes. Are you excited? Because we are.
