Yes, you can get captain seats for 2025 Isuzu mu-X in PH
Transform the 7-seater mu-X into a four-seater lounge

Remember when Isuzu Philippines showed a unique concept at the 2024 Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS)? Called the Isuzu mu-X Executive Edition, the SUV transformed from a 7-seater SUV into a four-seater complete with captain seats. At the time, we originally thought they just built that concept for the show and would revert it to the factory 7-seater layout.
But lo and behold, the concept they showed at PIMS last year is actually a working vehicle. Heck, we recently got to experience it during a media drive in Palawan and were pleasantly surprised by how comfortable it was. We’ll explain more in an upcoming feature, but just how did Isuzu able to make it work in the first place?

According to Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC), the captain seats in the mu-X Executive Edition were made possible by Primera Klasse, a local outfitter that converts vehicles into mobile lounges. From vans to MPVs and even SUVs, they can turn a regular, run-of-the-mill vehicle into a luxurious private lounge that allows occupants to beat traffic in style and in complete relaxation.
For the mu-X Executive Edition, it comes with a pair of captain seats and additional features for that extra first-class look and feel. Not only are they upholstered in high-quality leather, but they also get additional amenities like a massage function and USB-C/USB Type A charging ports.

Need to cool down faster on a hot day? The captain seats also come with a cooling function, which is always a welcome feature to have. Alternatively, it also has a heating function in case you prefer something warmer for a change. Last but not least. It comes with LED ambient lighting for a cozier feel, especially when you’re riding at night. Last but not least, Primera Klase will also install custom carpet matting, a new headlining, the red leather interior, and other cabin amenities.
But just how much will it cost you to change the mu-X into a four-seater lounge on wheels? Apart from the fact that you will lose the third-row seats, you’ll have to shell out a pretty penny; around PHP 500,000 to be exact, according to an executive from Isuzu Philippines.
Interested in getting one? Better let your nearest Isuzu dealer know you want one for your mu-X.
