VinFast boosts EV adoption in PH with nationwide free charging
VinFast also offers a 10-year warranty for both the vehicle and its battery.

In a move set to significantly lower the cost of electric vehicle ownership, VinFast has launched a free nationwide charging program for its customers in the Philippines. Through a partnership with V-GREEN, every VinFast EV owner will have access to complimentary charging at all V-GREEN-operated ports across the country until May 1, 2027.
The initiative directly addresses one of the key barriers to EV adoption for Filipino drivers: the ongoing cost of charging. With volatile fuel prices, this offer is expected to provide substantial savings, comparable to what many motorists spend on gasoline over several years. By making the switch to electric more economically appealing, VinFast aims to accelerate the country’s transition toward sustainable mobility.

The program is supported by V-GREEN’s ambitious plan to install up to 15,000 charging ports across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao by the end of 2025. This expanding network is designed to mitigate range anxiety and provide convenient charging access in key areas, including malls, commercial districts, and expressways.
Beyond offering free charging, VinFast will also provide a suite of benefits to support a smooth ownership experience, including a 10-year or 200,000-kilometer warranty for both the vehicle and battery.
This program also complements existing government incentives under the Electric Vehicle Industry Development Act (EVIDA), aligning private and public sector efforts to make EVs more accessible.
