Value Plus: Ford PH expands Ranger lineup with XL+
Ford Ranger XL+ offers improved looks, convenience, and overall value of XL variant

Customer feedback is something that Ford values very well. And for that, the brand has added a new entry-level variant for the Ranger lineup with better practicality and versatility.
Ford Philippines has introduced the new Ranger XL+, a variant that offers customers an upgraded and more functional version of the Ford Ranger XL.
The XL+ features most of the Ranger XL’s standard equipment. But on the exterior, the XL+ gets a standard bed liner for better cargo loading and to improve the appearance of the pickup truck. Furthermore, the new XL+ variant now features standard side steps for easier ingress and egress in the tall truck.
Inside, the XL+ comes equipped with retractable cup holders, much like the higher-spec Ranger variants. For infotainment, there’s a 10-inch colored portrait touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
The Ranger XL+ is powered by the single-turbo version of Ford’s 2.0-liter diesel, putting out 170 PS and 405 Nm of torque through a 6-speed manual transmission with selectable 4WD.
All the additional upgrades come at a very minimal price increase, as the SRP for the Ford Ranger XL+ is PHP 1,279,000 – just PHP 10,000 more than the standard XL. Color choices include Absolute Black, Arctic White, and Aluminum Metallic.
