Urus, Huracan top Lamborghini sales in 1st half of 2023
6.7% growth in the first six months of 2023 which raised operating income by €31 million

For the next two years, you have absolutely no shot at buying Lamborghini’s 1,000-PS Revuelto hybrid. The order books are closed and will only be opened by 2025. If you are going to settle for the super SUV Urus or the super sportscar Huracan, you will have to wait until the middle of next year.
Yes, Lamborghini has been experiencing an uptick in sales over the last few years. The Italian automaker reported a 6.7% increase over the last six months compared to the same period in 2022. While the percentage appears low, the numbers say otherwise. According to the marque, its operating income rose 7.2% to €456 million – an increase of €31 million – resulting in a 32.1% return on sales.

“We have achieved yet another record half-year for our company, and take great pride once again in communicating the results. We are really excited about these numbers, delivered with only two models in the range in a year that we can define as special for Lamborghini. In fact, 2023, in addition to marking the company’s 60th anniversary, has seen the launch of the Revuelto, the first plug-in hybrid in our history, and the presentation of the SC63, the most advanced racing car ever designed by Lamborghini that follows the company’s Direzione Cor Tauri strategy for electrifying the range,” said Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini.

Europe, the Middle East, and Africa brought in the biggest number with 2,285 units sold combined. America picked up 1,857, and Asia Pacific came in third with 1,199 deliveries.
The USA leads sales by country with 1,625 followed by the United Kingdom (514), Germany (511), Chinese mainland, Hong Kong and Macau (450), Japan (280), and Italy (270).

“We are proud to once again confirm Lamborghini’s growth path. The positive trend reinforces our expectation that we will close the year with further record results in all the key financial metrics, with profitability that confirms Lamborghini’s place among the leading brands in the luxury segment,” said Paolo Poma, Managing Director and CFO of Automobili Lamborghini.
