Unleashed: Jaguar PH takes to the circuit with I-PACE, F-TYPE and XF
JLR holds first-ever Jaguar Experiential Track Day at Clark International Speedway

Jaguar Land Rover Philippines treated its customers, partners, and the media to a fun and exhilarating day at the Clark International Speedway on the first-ever Jaguar Experiential Track Day.

JLR flew in international executives to serve as lead driving instructors for the day – Bruno Arnoud from JLR France and Hideaki Miyoshi of JLR Japan came to the country to manage track activities along with JLR PH boss Chris Ward and racing veteran Georges Ramirez.

Participants of the first-ever Jaguar Experiential Track Day were given a series of driving exercises to enhance their skills in a controlled environment, allowing them to discover the capabilities of the Jaguar F-TYPE sports car, the Jaguar XF sedan, and the all-electric Jaguar I-PACE in terms of performance, safety and driving thrills.

After a short off-track safety briefing, the Jaguar Experiential Track Day consisted of five on-track activities. The first two drives were through a low-speed and high-speed slalom course to learn about car control and experience the dynamic handling of both ICE and fully-electric Jaguar vehicles.

The third activity saw participants proceed to sections of the track to get a demonstration and first-hand feel of Jaguar's torque vectoring system, which allows drivers to regain control of the car in high-speed driving and emergency situations.

In the fourth activity, participants drove a guided lap of the Clark International Speedway. The lead driving instructors set up cones around the track to serve as the indicators for proper braking points, apex, and corner exits. Lastly, the activity culminated with an open track session to allow the participants to apply all the lessons learned from the prior exercises.

“We wanted our customers, clients, and the media to establish that connection between car and driver,” said Chris Ward, president of Jaguar Land Rover Philippines. “The track activities were optimized for them to feel the unique Jaguar DNA that's engineered in all our vehicles, and at the end of the day we hope our guests felt more confident and got to know what their cars are truly capable of.”
