Two lucky golfers take home a Jetour Ice Cream EV
20th APT Cup awards two brand-new Jetour Ice Cream EVs

Imagine driving home in an electric vehicle after driving the greens.
This fortunate outcome happened at the 20th APT Cup, where two brand-new Jetour Ice Cream EVs were raffled off among the golf tournament’s participants.
The APT Cup is a merry and casual golf tournament among the friends and associates of the transportation department’s former chief, Art Tugade. In the spirit of fun and friendship, participants wore basketball jerseys, anime, sci-fi, and superhero costumes as they swung their way through the course. Around 158 players joined the game this year, the first time the event was held again after a seven-year hiatus.
In attendance this year were Tugade’s past colleagues in government service, which included then-Executive Secretary Medialdea, current Senator and former Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark Villar, former Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana, ex-Energy Secretary Alfonso Cusi, and Chairman and Resident Representative-designate of the Manila Economic and Cultural Office (MECO) and former Labor Secretary Bebot Bello III.
During the competition, business people, actors, the secretary’s former classmates at San Beda College, former DOTR officials, doctors, and PMA Class 2000 mistahs were also present. They partook in the festive atmosphere of the tournament and became instant winners of prizes given away at the event.

Initially, the two Jetour Ice Cream EVs were up for grabs as hole-in-one prizes in the friendly tournament. The organizers promised to give out the car as a prize to all participants if no one could win the car at the greens. And when luck ran out at the fairways, it was Dr. Rolly Cinco and Atty. Steve Pastor who became the two new owners of the Jetour EVs when their names were drawn during the awarding ceremonies.
APT Cup officials handed the brand-new cars to their new owners during simple rites at Jetour Auto Alabang.
“The Jetour Ice Cream EV has created awareness in helping address the issue of climate change by reducing carbon footprints through electric vehicles,” shared former Transportation Secretary Tugade.
