Toyota quietly launches 2025 Camry HEV
2025 Toyota Camry HEV is now available at dealerships, starting at PHP 2.651M

After the grand launch of the all-new Tamaraw, we all thought that Toyota Motor Philippines had wrapped up its rollout of models for the year. But surprise, surprise, it turns out they had one more in store just before Christmas.
TMP has quietly launched the 2025 Camry HEV. Now in its 9th-generation guise, Toyota’s midsize sedan gets a nice makeover with improvements to its styling, and luxury features, and promises a better hybrid drive.

The new Camry XV80 gets the “hammerhead” front fascia that’s shared with the Prius hybrid, while the rest of the exterior sees very slight changes compared to the outgoing model. Underpinned by the improved TNGA platform as the XV70, the 2025 Camry stretches out to a length of 4920 mm.

Open the large doors and the new Camry welcomes you with two 12.3-inch displays on the dashboard, plus plenty of soft-touch surfaces finished in black and tan leather. There’s a fully digital instrument cluster, and the infotainment screen gets wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connected to a 9-speaker JBL audio system.
Other features inside include a sunroof, tri-zone climate control, power-adjustable seats with ventilation, motorized rear sunshade, plus rear seat touch control panels with electric reclining backrests.

Toyota has yet to update the downloadable brochure of the 2025 Camry, but the XV80 features an improved version of the A25A-FKS. The 2.5-liter, four-cylinder Atkinson cycle engine produces 186 PS and 221 Nm of torque, while the new lithium-ion battery-powered electric motor generates 136 PS and 208 Nm of torque. When combined, the new HEV system makes 227 PS delivered to an e-CVT transmission, sending power to the front wheels.

In terms of safety, the 2025 Camry has Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 as standard. The advanced safety suite includes things like a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, radar cruise control, lane tracing assist, lane departure alert, and the like.
The 2025 Toyota Camry HEV starts at PHP 2,651,000 for the Attitude Black Mica color, while the Precious Metal and Platinum White Pearl Mica is PHP 20,000 more expensive at PHP 2,671,000.
