Toyota quietly adds base XE A/T variant to Innova diesel
XE variant is the most affordable Toyota Innova with automatic transmission

In case you're wondering, the Toyota Innova continues to exist in the local TMP lineup despite the introduction of the newer Zenix earlier in the year. The model continues to be offered to customers who still prefer a 7 or 8-seater MPV with ladder-frame construction and most importantly, a turbodiesel engine.
While Toyota Motor Philippines has not done any updates on the diesel-powered Innova, they have quietly added a new entry-level automatic transmission variant called the Innova XE.
Specs-wise, the XE variant follows the amount of features present on the base Innova J that comes with a 5-speed manual. Outside, the Innova XE comes with 16-inch steel wheels with full rim covers, and unlike the Innova E, the XE does not come with LED fog lights as standard.

Inside, the Toyota Innova XE has fabric seats, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with steering wheel-mounted controls, manual rotary-type knobs for air-conditioning, and power windows.

Powering the Innova XE is the familiar 2.8-liter 1GD-FTV turbodiesel with 174 PS and 360 Nm of torque. It has a 6-speed automatic transmission that transfers power to the rear wheels and comes with Eco and Power modes.
Other features of the Innova XE include 3 airbags, a reverse camera, ABS with EBD, VSC, and Hill Start Assist.
The 2024 Innova 2.8 XE A/T is already available in official Toyota dealerships and retails for PHP 1,375,000. The 8-seater MPV is available in the following colors: Silver Metallic 1, Black 1, Blackish Red Mica, and Red Mica Metallic.
