Toyota PH quietly updates Hilux, Fortuner models
Toyota Motor Philippines adds Safety Sense and rear A/C vents to GR-S Hilux

With newer and more feature-packed rivals entering the Philippine market, Toyota Motor Philippines has responded by introducing updates to two of its most popular models.
TMP has equipped the Hilux pickup truck with the Toyota Safety Sense advanced driver assistance system, which adds a pre-collision system, lane departure alert, and adaptive cruise control to the GR-S and Conquest variants. Moreover, the top-spec GR-S variant also gets an additional rear cross-traffic alert and blind-spot monitor for added safety.

In terms of interior amenities for the Hilux, the GR-S also (finally) gets rear A/C vents. Meanwhile, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity is now available in the 8-inch display audio even up to the E variant of the pickup truck.

On the other hand, the Fortuner's update is much more minimal compared to the Hilux. The V variant gets the Fortuner Q's 18-inch wheels and 265/60R18 tires as standard. This means, that only the G variants of the Fortuner are the ones wearing the 17-inch alloy wheels.
As for the pickup truck and SUV's pricing, Toyota now sells these models as follows:
