Toyota PH quietly launches 2025 Corolla Altis GR-S HEV
Toyota Motor PH gives the Corolla Altis GR-S HEV plenty of updates, inside and out

Remember when Toyota revealed the facelifted 2025 Corolla Altis GR-S over in Thailand? Well, after making its regional debut in The Land of Smiles last November 2024, Toyota Motor Philippines has quietly launched the refreshed sedan.
Like the vehicle launched in Thailand, the updated Corolla Altis GR-S HEV gets some neat updates on the outside along with several key upgrades in the interior and powertrain departments.

Starting with the exterior, the Corolla Altis GR-S HEV gets a redesigned front bumper which consists of squared side intakes that are similar to the GR Yaris and GR Corolla. In addition, the upper grille is slimmer to give the vehicle a sleeker appearance. Other changes present on the outside include the smoked LED taillights, a new ducktail spoiler, and the Beyond Zero logo in the back that indicates this is the updated Corolla Altis GR-S HEV.

Hop inside and Toyota was busy giving the electrified sedan a more high-tech cabin. There’s a new 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a new 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, a wireless charging pad, and a power-adjustable driver’s seat. Toyota even included a suede/leather upholstery for a more premium look and feel for the updated Corolla Altis GR-S HEV.

Other cabin features include red contrast stitching, a GR-S leather-wrapped steering wheel, front and rear center armrests, dual-zone climate control, push-button start, a 360-degree camera system, and an electronic parking brake.
Under the hood, the 1.8L four-cylinder hybrid engine has been carried over. It still makes a combined 122 PS along with 142 Nm of torque. But unlike the pre-facelift version which made use of a nickel-metal hydride battery system, the updated sedan now has a lithium-ion battery which will allow the self-charging hybrid to stay in EV mode for longer. Last but not least, the GR-S variant comes with a unique suspension tuning for better handling.

The 2025 Toyota Corolla Altis GR-S HEV retails for PHP 1,755,000 and is only available in one color; Platinum White Pearl Mica.
