Toyota PH finally offering 6-speed manual for 2025 GR Supra
Toyota Motor Philippines now offering GR Supra with 6-speed manual transmission

It’s been a long time coming, but we finally get to see Toyota offer a GR Supra with three pedals for the Philippine market.
In case you missed it, Toyota Motor Philippines has updated the 2025 model year GR Supra just recently, offering the rear-wheel-drive sports car with the upgraded 3.0-liter, inline-six turbo that now puts out 387 PS and 500 Nm of torque. The icing on the cake has come as the GR Supra is now available with a 6-speed manual transmission.

The new gearbox option for the PH market has an intelligent manual transmission (iMT) program that prioritizes sporty performance. During upshifts, the parameters are tuned to optimize engine torque at the moment of clutch engagement and release. And for downshifts, there's an auto blip function, so perfect shifts are done whether you’re going up or going down the gears.
But of course, iMT can be switched off in Sport mode if you want the full experience of shifting with three pedals and doing the heel and toe yourself. Also, the 6-speed manual has a shorter final drive ratio than the 8-speed auto. While you lose a bit of top speed, the shorter final drive means a better response and faster acceleration off the line for the GR Supra.

When it comes to pricing, Toyota Motor Philippines has decided to sell the manual transmission GR Supra at the same price as the 8-speed auto. That means if you want one, the 6MT starts at PHP 5,552,000. Special colors such as White Metallic and Matte Storm Gray Metallic will have you spend an extra PHP 60,000 and PHP 100,000, respectively.
