Toyota PH expects to sell 1k 2022 Raize units per month
Toyota Motor Philippines targets 1000 units monthly sales for all-new Raize

Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) officially launched the 2022 Raize today. It’s the newest model to join the brand’s lineup and is also the brand’s most affordable crossover, slotting below the Corolla Cross. Starting at PHP 746,000, TMP priced the model very competitively against its competitors.
But how many units of the Raize does TMP expect to sell per month? According to the automaker, they are targeting 1,000 units per month. It may not seem much, but selling 1000 units of the Raize monthly will be quite a challenge even for Toyota. For starters, the Raize is an all-new model; unlike the Vios, Innova, and Fortuner which are already household names in the country.

There’s no word yet how many customers have already pre-ordered the Raize. TMP did open up the reservation list for customers a few days ahead of the crossover’s official debut. However, the automaker says they will do all they can to reach the sales figure of 1000 units per month. Aside from the price, the crossover is loaded with tech and features. The range-topping 1.0 Turbo CVT even comes with blind-spot monitoring and rear-cross traffic alert.
But perhaps one of the most important bit of news from the press conference is that Toyota gave official fuel economy data for the Raize; that's something they generally do not actually do unless its a hybrid. For the Raize Turbo, Toyota says it can do up to 18 kilometers per liter on combined driving conditions based on UN ECE 101 standards. For the Raize non-turbo 1.2L, they say it's capable of 19 km/l under the same testing standards. As to fuel economy on local roads, we'll have to wait and see when we get a full test drive of the model.
We’ve already given our quick impression of the 2022 Raize, which you can read in detail here. To sum, we’re already impressed with what the model has to offer as a whole. However, we’ve yet to do a proper review, but you can expect to do one very soon.

For those that want to make the crossover even sportier, TMP is offering a GR accessories package for the 2022 Raize, and it is available for all variants of the crossover. The kit is comprised of a front skirt, side skirts, a rear skirt, side stripes, and window visors. Official prices have yet to be released. However, according to the press release, the front skirt will retail for PHP 17,000, rear skirt for PHP 21,000, side skirts for PHP 20,000, and the stripes and badges for PHP 4,800.
