Chicago 2014: Toyota debuts TRD Pro Series Tundra, Tacoma, and 4Runner
Toyota's TRD Pro Series Off-road vehicles 'Get ready to go where even roads fear to tread'

"Get ready to go where even roads fear to tread" is a statement released by Toyota as it presents its TRD Pro Series with off-road vehicles namely, the 2015 Toyota Tundra, Tacoma and 4Runnner. Toyota says the TRD Pro Series vehicles will be equipped new aggressive off-road packages designed by the experts at Toyota Racing Development (TRD).
The TRD Pro series takes the roots of Toyota’s off-road racing heritage with numerous victories in the challenging Baja 500 and 1000 endurance races. With this experience, Toyota’s TRD Pro Series will enable off-road enthusiasts to go places they never thought possible. Furthermore, Toyota says that the new factory-installed TRD Pro Series is aimed at extreme off-roading enthusiasts who push their vehicles to the limit.

The Toyota TRD Pro Series Tundra, Tacoma, and 4Runner are equipped with the following: TRD Bilstein shocks with remote reservoirs, TRD-tuned front springs, TRD front skid plate, front grille with “TOYOTA” badging (pays tribute to early iconic Toyota models), TRD floor mats, TRD shift knobs, and black wheels.
In addition to the said features, the Toyota Tundra is also equipped with the following: RD-tuned springs with 2” lift for the front of the vehicle, decreased spring rate to improve ride quality over harsh terrain, all-black 18-inch alloy wheels with Michelin ORP tires, TRD dual exhaust system, TRD PRO quarter panel bed stamping, interior seat color with red stitching, instrument panel ornament insert.
The Tacoma TRD Pro Series also has its own added features which are: RD-tuned springs with 2” lift for the front of the vehicle, decreased spring rate to improve ride quality over harsh terrain, all-black 18-inch alloy wheels with Michelin ORP tires, TRD dual exhaust system, TRD PRO quarter panel bed stamping, unique interior seat color with red stitching, unique instrument panel ornament insert.

The Toyota TRD Pro Series 4Runner will not let itself be left behind because it is also equipped with its own off-road packages which are: 1.5” lift for the front of the vehicle, 1” of additional wheel travel, All-new 17-inch TRD all-black alloy wheels, Black TRD Pro badges, Black front and rear lower bumper accents.
