Toyota Corolla Concept could be our best look at next-gen model
Toyota pulls off one heck of a surprise ahead of this year's Japan Mobility Show

Toyota put out all the stops yesterday when they released a teaser video of what they'll be revealing at the 2025 Japan Mobility Show (JMS). According to what Toyota initially revealed, the Japanese automaker will showcase a range of concepts for all to see. But what really caught our attention was the Corolla Concept.
That's right, Toyota revealed a concept of the Corolla, which could mean the next-generation model is on its way. Toyota revealed no exact details regarding the Corolla Concept, but we cannot help but see some similarities between it and the all-new Prius.
From the dynamic-looking front fascia to the muscular wheel arches, as well as the unique side profile of the Corolla Concept, the next-generation Corolla will most likely get one heck of a redesign. After all, the current 12th-generation Corolla has been with us since 2018, and it's due for a full model change. The concept also features crisp lines, a more sculpted body, and a Cyberpunk-like design, which gives it an EV-like appearance.

The LED headlights feature the brand's now-familiar hammerhead-inspired design, which features vertical lighting elements that are paired with a central light bar. It also has massive alloy wheels housed within sleek wheel arches. We also noticed that the Corolla Concept comes with what appears to be digital side mirrors and touch-sensitive door handles.
Last but not least, the overall shape of the Corolla Concept gives it a hatchback or liftback-like appearance, which seems to be a nod to past generations of the Corolla, as well as a design inspiration from the all-new Prius.
Powertrain details about the Corolla Concept are not yet available at the moment. But given that it's set to be revealed at Tokyo Big Sight for this year's JMS, we'll be keeping our eyes peeled for any new info about the Corolla Concept.
