This Y60 Nissan Patrol by Forsberg Racing has 1,000 PS
Forsberg Racing throws it back for SEMA 2025 with souped-up Y60 Patrol

Nissan may be experiencing some financial troubles, but all seems to be well in the US market. In fact, the automaker joined this year’s SEMA Show and already wowed the public with the go-anywhere Patrol Dune. But if you thought the automaker had stopped there, Nissan collaborated with Forsberg Racing for some wild builds, and this is one of them.

Say hello to the Forsberg Racing Patrol, a Y60 generation model that has been cranked up to 11. While it seems it only received exterior upgrades, this souped-up Y60 Patrol had its engine modified to the extreme. How extreme, you ask? Well, the 4.8L TB48 inline-six has been tuned to generate a whopping 1,000 PS thanks to a Garrett Motion G42-1000 turbo, along with a GVW-60 wastegate.
The highly-modified straight-six also benefits from a PWR 3-inch intercooler with 3.5-inch piping, a PWR dual-pass radiator with brushless fans, a Link Fury ECU, a K&N 5-inch intake filter, a Hypertune billet intake manifold, and a DC Power alternator.

All of that power is sent to massive 17-inch NISMO Axis deadlock wheels wrapped in 35-inch Yokohama Geolandar tires. Complementing the tires is a custom NISMO Off Road-inspired suspension with remote reservoirs for improved handling and ride comfort.
As far as the exterior is concerned, Forsberg Racing and NISMO gave it a classic Mobil 1 livery and Forsberg Racing decals. It also has a front light bar for improved outside visibility at night. Other key exterior features include Holley RetroBright LED headlights and NISMO Off Road 6-inch driving/flood lights.

Hop inside, and the cabin of the Forsberg Racing Patrol welcomes you with Recaro Sportster seats, Forsberg Racing seat brackets, an NRG steering wheel adapter with an OMP quick-release steering wheel mount, and a Grip Royal leather steering wheel.

While the Forsberg Racing Patrol is a one-off, we won’t be surprised if owners of the Y60 Patrol got some inspiration to make their own 4x4 into one heck of a performance SUV.
