This restomodded Toyota LC60 packs a 6.2L LS3 V8
The Toyota Land Cruiser 60 by TLC4x4 has a Chevrolet 6.2-liter V8 and a Porsche 911-inspired interior & paint finish

When it comes to vintage Toyota Land Cruisers, most will immediately turn their attention to the LC70 Prado, the LC90, or the old-school (but venerable) LC40. However, there is also another classic Land Cruiser that requires your attention, the LC60.
Also called the J60, this particular Land Cruiser wasn’t exactly offered by Toyota in the Philippines back in the day. However, there are still several examples of the vehicles making their way to the country. But the best version of the Land Cruiser 60 (in our opinion at least) can be found in the US.

Don’t expect this Land Cruiser 60 to be your run-of-the-mill classic SUV. This particular example is actually a finely crafted restomod by TLC4x4 based in North Carolina. While everything seems to be period correct, there are some neat changes done by the US-based shop.
For starters, the exterior is finished in Agate Gray which is a color you'd normally find on a Porsche 911. In addition, it gets new front fender vents, new rock sliders, and rear quarter vents. To make it more capable off-road, the TLC4x4 installed 17-inch Method wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich all-terrain tires along with LED lights for better illumination at night.

Hop inside and the restomodded Land Cruiser 60 gets a more modern-looking cabin including new seats upholstered in Relicate Leather along with Houndstooth inserts which is something you'd find in classic Porsche 911s. Beyond that, TLC4x4 also put a new headliner, a JVC touchscreen infotainment system, Kicker KS Series speakers, and distinct gauges.

Under the hood, the Land Cruiser 60 doesn't come with a restored straight-six engine. Instead, TLC4x4 swapped it out for an all-American 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine from Chevy. No output figures were mentioned but the motor cranks out over 500 PS along with a meaty 641 Nm of torque. It is then paired to a 6-speed automatic gearbox.

Other key upgrades made to the vehicle include a 3-inch stainless steel exhaust with Magnaflow mufflers, new DBA disc brakes & pads, Fox racing shocks, and an Old Man Emu suspension system for better off-road capability.
