This modified Suzuki Super Carry wants to go off-road
The Super Carry Mountain Trail, Spacia Papa Boku Kitchen, and Swift Cool Yellow Rev Concepts are coming to Tokyo Auto Salon

Suzuki is on its way to the 2024 Tokyo Auto Salon with a trio of customized vehicles. Out of the three concepts they will be bringing at the annual auto show, one vehicle immediately sticks out. This is the Super Carry Mountain Trail Concept, and it's no ordinary mini pickup truck. Finished in a unique black & yellow hue, the heavily modified Super Carry looks like it's ready to take on the road less traveled with ease.
For starters, it gets beadlock wheels, all-terrain tires, and even a front skid plate to protect its undercarriage from debris. The doors and rear bed have been replaced with black metal tubes that help to reduce weight while also protecting from outside elements.
Given its compact size, a typical roll cage wouldn't be able to fit inside the vehicle. Instead, Suzuki devised an exoskeleton made from metal tubes that surrounds the cabin structure for extra peace of mind should it flip over. Other key highlights present on the Super Carry Mountain include an LED light bar, a roof rack, and additional stowage points on the bed.

The other concept Suzuki will be bringing to Tokyo Auto Salon is the Spacia Papa Boku Kitchen Concept. From its (long) namesake, this concept will have a dedicated kitchen space behind the rear seats.
Its unique setup according to Suzuki is to enhance the collaboration between parents and children via cooking activities, especially during camping trips. As for the vehicle itself, it gets a distinct exterior design that is highlighted by an eye-catching two-tone finish, a Jeep-like front grille, stylish alloy wheels, and a honeycomb-like lower air intake.
Last but not least is the Swift Cool Yellow Rev Concept which is based on the latest generation hatchback. The customized vehicle sports a special livery that's finished in a unique Cool Yellow Metallic and is accompanied by a “Swift” decal painted in white. It also has a black-painted roof which provides the vehicle with a two-tone finish. No mechanical upgrades were mentioned so it likely has the stock 1.2-liter mild-hybrid three-cylinder engine.

All three concepts will be shown at this year's Tokyo Auto Salon from January 12 to 14, 2024 at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan.
