This company will turn Nissan GT-R R35 into a Skyline R34
Full carbon fiber body, more powerful twin-turbo engines, and an R34-inspired exterior

There are plenty of cars in the world that continue to have a lasting legacy in the minds of enthusiasts despite being no longer in production. One of those cars is the Nissan Skyline GT-R R34. Not only is it famous in the real world, but it's also equally prominent in the silver screen and the digital realm of video games.
If you're looking to get a mint condition R34 GT-R, you better have plenty of connections as nice examples usually fetch a high price. In addition, most R34 owners are not willing to part with such a vehicle despite the costs. In addition, you might soon compete with US buyers since the R34 GT-R will be eligible for export in North America after the infamous 25-year rule expires.

So what will be your next best option to get an R34? Well, Artisan Vehicle Design from the UK is set to build a limited number of retro-designed R34 GT-Rs based on the R35 GT-R. That's right, the company is set to commence an ambitious project that will see them make a full carbon body R35 with R34 styling. In addition, they will redesign the interior and offer powerful engines that can crank out up to 1,000 PS.
The company plans to replace each of the body panels on an R35 with carbon fiber counterparts to increase body rigidity and reduce weight. Meanwhile, the exterior will be revised to feature styling cues from the much-revered R34 GT-R. These will include new lighting elements, bumpers, the hood, and even the rear spoiler.

Even the color choices will reflect the R34's original hues which include Millenium Jade, Bayside Blue, and Midnight Purple. However, the automaker will also offer unique colors should interested customers want something more special.
Inside, the customized coupe will get a high-tech cabin along with plenty of digital screens. Like the exterior, the interior will also come with carbon fiber components to complement the vehicle's sporty pedigree. If that's not enough, the limited-run vehicle will also come with heavily bolstered bucket seats and Alcantara trim. Should a customer prefer a bespoke trim or materials, Artisan Vehicle Design says there is no limit to what they can offer to customers.

There will be two powertrain options for the Artisan GT-R – Track and Ultimate. The former will crank out 811 PS while the latter will generate over 1,000 PS. Complementing the more powerful twin-turbo engines will be an upgraded suspension, better brakes, and gripper tires.

For now, Artisan's project for the R35 exists only in the digital realm. However, the company does plan on making it a reality soon and could make its debut at the 2024 SEMA Show. And with only 36 examples to be built, this will be quite the rare GT-R.
