Third-gen Hennessey VelociRaptor 6X6 is a menacing PHP 23-M truck
Hennessey's latest 6X6 based on third-gen F-150 Raptor

The Ford Ranger and F-150 Raptor are examples of an already very capable off-roader, but there are people who simply want to take things to the extreme. Well, that's where Hennessey Performance comes in.
Behold, the VelociRaptor 6X6. Hennessey's latest attempt at exposing the F-150 Raptor to gamma rays, mutating into a fire-breathing, six-wheel-drive, go-anywhere supertruck.

Based on the third-generation Ford F-150 Raptor, the VelociRaptor isn't simply an F-150 with an additional pair of wheels. The third axle gave the Hennessey supertruck an extended bed length, going from 1670mm in the stock Raptor to an impressive 2400mm (8 feet).
In addition to its length spurt, the VelociRaptor also stands taller than the standard F-150 Raptor thanks to a combination of a three-inch lift and Hennessey's 20-inch wheels mounted on 37-inch off-road tires.

Hennessey also uprated the VelociRaptor's Fox suspension and fitted dual-locking rear axles, which according to the manufacturer, has made the 6X6 truck get 50% more tractive grip off the beaten path. Other off-road doodads include steel front and rear bumpers, plus an additional LED light bar.
The Ford F-150 Raptor's 3.5-liter, twin-turbo V6 also gets a stronger bite force, as Hennessey engineers fitted the powertrain with an enhanced air induction system, a high-capacity intercooler with blow-off valve, and a remapped engine control unit. This pushes the power figures to 558 PS and an earth-shattering 911 Nm of torque.

In the US, the Hennessey VelociRaptor 6X6 retails for a whopping USD 399,950 or around PHP 23 million when converted to the latest exchange rates, as the cost includes the purchase of the base Ford F-150 Raptor.
If this doesn't satisfy your power needs yet, the Ford F-150 Raptor R is about to arrive later this year with the supercharged 5.2-liter V8 from the Mustang Shelby GT500. Of course, with Hennessey being the world's largest producer of modified Ford F-150s, expect a VelociRaptor R to arrive shortly and give a stronger hulk smash.
