These special edition Jeep Wranglers are ready for summer
Both the Wrangler High Tide and Beach models come with the Xtreme Recon Package

Jeep is kicking off 2022 with a pair of special edition Wrangler models that are set to debut at the annual Jeep Beach Week in Daytona Beach, Florida. Exuding a summer vibe, the two special edition models are not your typical Wrangler builds.
First up is the 2022 Wrangler High Tide. It’s based on the Sport S trim and comes with the Xtreme Recon Package as standard. Unlike your regular Jeep, the added package gives the Wrangler extra 4x4 capability courtesy of 35-inch BF Goodrich KO2 all-terrain tires, a 1.5-inch suspension lift kit, tuned shock absorbers,17-inch beadlock-capable alloy wheels, wheel flare extensions, a 4.56 rear axle ratio, and a hinge-gate reinforcement by Mopar.

Aside from the added 4x4 equipment, the High Tide also comes with LED headlights and foglights, a body-colored hardtop with a Sunrider flip-top, rock rails, Gorilla Glass windshield, sand/slush mats, and High Tide decals on the hood.
Since it’s based on the Sport S variant, the High Tide is powered by a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 that puts out 289 PS along with 352 Nm of torque. Power is then sent to an eight-speed automatic transmission with 4WD as standard. The High Tide will have a suggested retail price of USD 49,240 (or PHP 2,531,809).

The other special edition model Jeep revealed is called Wrangler Beach. It’s also based on the High Tide version but gets exclusive Jeep Beach hood decals. The first 500 High Tide Wranglers will be available as Jeep Beach models and will be sold at a similar price.
Aside from the High Tide and Beach special edition models, Jeep also announced that the 2022 Wrangler will be getting a new High Velocity exterior color. First seen on the High Tide Wrangler, the automaker claims it’s a “high-energy, high-impact yellow that is authentic and not afraid to stand out”.
The new High Velocity paint job will be available on all Wrangler models (Sport, Sahara, Rubicon, 4xe, and 392 HEMI), and will cost an extra USD 395 (or PHP 20,309).
Those who plan to visit Jeep Beach Week 2022 from April 24 to May 1 will get to see the High Tide and Beach Wranglers in the metal. In the future, we’re hoping that Jeep will accept indent orders of the High Tide or Beach models for the Philippines.
