These are the PH specs, features of 2024 GAC M8
2024 GAC M8 will be available in two variants, GL, and GX Master

A few days ago, GAC Motor distributor Astara Philippines officially previewed its luxury minivan, the all-new M8. Essentially the successor to the GN8, the 2024 M8 is set to arrive in the Philippines in Q1 2024 and will sit alongside the GS8 as the brand's flagship offering.
It will be priced between PHP 3 million to PHP 4 million and will be available in two variants. In addition, a wide array of cabin amenities and features will be offered in the M8 including a pair of digital displays and a pair of captain seats in the second-row. However, we have yet to see what will be other available features in the M8.

Fortunately, GAC Motor PH Brand Head Franz Decloedt shared some of the amenities offered in the luxury minivan. Just like the vehicle we saw in Guangzhou several months ago, the luxury minivan will have captain seats in the second row. Not only will the seats be power-adjustable but they will also have tray tables along with heated/ventilated seats complete with massage function.
There will also be a panoramic sunroof with starlight decoration which you'd normally see in more high-end luxury brands like Rolls-Royce. Other features worth mentioning include; a three-zone automatic climate control, multi-color LED ambient lighting, a 14.6-inch touchscreen media system with Apple CarPlay, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, an 8-speaker system from DTS, smart keyless entry, and a host of intelligent driver aids.

Outside, the GAC M8 will come with 18-inch alloy wheels, dual power-sliding doors, power-folding side mirrors with position memory & reverse tilt function, multi-function LED headlights, and soundproof glass that aids in reducing outside noise creeping into the cabin.
Under the hood, the GAC M8 will be powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that makes 252 PS and 400 Nm of torque. It will then be paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission driving the front wheels. If the powertrain looks and sounds familiar, that's because this is the same one that powers the GS8 flagship SUV.

Once GAC Motor PH officially launches the M8, two variants will be available, the GL and the GX Master. The former will have an SRP of around PHP 3 million to PHP 3.1 million while the latter will have a sticker price between PHP 4 million to PHP 4.1 million. And just like the M6 Pro, reservations are now open for the GAC M8.
With the GAC M8 coming to the Philippines in Q1 2024, we will be keeping our eyes peeled for any new info about the luxury minivan.
