Tamiya makes life-size version of Lexus LBX Morizo RR Mini 4WD
Tamiya and Lexus are exhibiting a 1:1 version of the LBX Morizo RR Mini 4WD in Tokyo

As they say, boys never grow up. Their toys just get bigger.
Well, Tamiya took that literally to heart with their latest creation that’s on display at the Tamiya Plamodel Factory in Tokyo. Together with Lexus, they made a full-scale Mini 4WD version of the LBX Morizo RR. In case you’re not familiar, this is the LBX with the running gear of the GR Yaris.
The LBX Morizo RR is the first Lexus model to appear in the Mini 4WD lineup. And for the 1:1 version Tamiya has attached the chassis, rollers and other parts that make up a Mini 4WD - they even claim that the size ratio is designed to be the same as that of the real Mini 4WD toy. In fact, Tamiya paid a lot of attention to detail, with the rollers actually able to rotate.
The full-scale Lexus LBX Morizo RR Mini 4WD will be at the Tamiya Plamodel Factory in Tokyo from March 28 to April 14, 2025. So in case you have a trip to Japan on those dates, this might be worth visiting indeed.
