Tamaraw takes center stage at Toyota Tamaraw Food Park
Enjoy local favorites at the Toyota Tamaraw Food Park just beside Toyota Marikina

The next-generation Tamaraw just proved its ability once again to wear many hats to help micro, small & medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), particularly in the food business industry. This comes after GT Capital’s Federal Land, together with Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP), opened the Tamaraw Food Park in Marikina City.

Officially opened to the public a few days ago, the Toyota Tamaraw Food Park is part of Federal Land’s Marikina Town Center, which features a 100x68-meter football field that follows FIFA standards. Meanwhile, the Toyota Tamaraw Food Park was developed in partnership with TMP and features the Tamaraw food truck conversions that offer a diverse mix of delicious local favorites.

It’s the perfect spot to grab a bite to eat after a game or enjoy a festive night out with family and friends. A total of nine food trucks were unveiled during launch day, with the initial lineup expected to rotate throughout the season.

"We’re excited to bring this unique food park experience to Marikina Town Center, supporting local entrepreneurs while sharing the joy of food and community," said Masando Hashimoto, president of TMP.

The current lineup includes:
-Celebrity Chefs — Dishes by Karla Kusinera, Chef Sharwin Tee, and Chef Sai Montes, bringing elevated comfort food and crowd-pleasing flavors
-Yahu! Kitchen — Home-style Filipino viands with bold, comforting flavors
-Boynita — Local favorites packed with classic Filipino savor
-Kusina ni Kambal — Everyday lutong-bahay specialties
-Overflow Café — Coffee and hearty café snacks
-Kape Talyer – crafted coffee and comfort bites
-What’s poppin’ - flavorful comfort food
The Tamaraw Food Park is also joined by the second run of “Nakakalocal Food Fest”, which champions Marikina’s beloved MSMEs and homegrown kitchens. From November 26 - 30, guests can enjoy top local merchants from the following:
-Café Rajah – Filipino comfort favorites
-Crumbly Crust Café – Local-inspired breads and pastries
-Kalye Classics by Maria Abish Kitchenette – Everyday Filipino Street classics
-Katip’s Food Hub – Creative, homegrown dishes
-Ligaya’s Chicken House – Well-loved chicken specialties
-Mang Romaurk’s Ihaw-Ihaw – Smoky grilled Filipino favorites
-Matteau’s Marikina Food & Beverage House – Regional comfort meals
-Tsokorado: The Champorado Station – Classic champorado and sweet treats

In the future, Federal Land plans to further develop the Marikina Town Center, as well as the Toyota Tamaraw Food Park, to introduce enhanced spaces that bring people together and to support an active community lifestyle.
