Suzuki reveals upgraded Swift for PHP 844k
Suzuki Swift gets exterior, interior, and safety upgrades for 2022

Suzuki Philippines just gave its subcompact hatchback an update for the 2022 model year. This is the refreshed Suzuki Swift, and it has received several changes both inside and out.

For starters, the Swift gets a refreshed front grille with studded net patterns that Suzuki claims deliver a sportier look. Inside, the hatchback is now equipped with a larger 8-inch touchscreen that replaces the previous 7-inch display. It features soft-touch buttons, as well as added connectivity features such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Also worth mentioning are the added safety features that now come standard on the 2022 Swift. These include rear parking sensors and a reverse camera. Other standard safety amenities present in the hatchback are dual front airbags, ISOFIX anchors for child seats, anti-lock brakes with electronic brakeforce distribution, and brake assist.

Under the hood, the 2022 Swift continues to be powered by a 1.2-liter naturally-aspirated four-cylinder engine called the K12M. It puts out 82 PS at 6000 rpm along with 113 Nm of torque. Power is then shifted by a continuously variable transmission (CVT). Sorry stickshift fans, the 2022 Swift is no longer available with a five-speed manual gearbox.
“The Swift is one of our products designed to be an everyday companion and a sure standout on the road. “As standards rise, so should the level of our products and services. We are excited to release this improved version of the lovable Swift,” said Keiichi Suzuki, vice president and general manager for Automobile at Suzuki Philippines.

The 2022 Suzuki Swift GL CVT retails for PHP 844,000 and will come in four different colors; Ablaze Red Pearl, Mineral Gray Metallic, Pure White Metallic, and Speedy Blue Metallic.
