Suzuki PH hikes Jimny prices, now starts at PHP 1.170M
Better fork up extra cash when buying an all-new Suzuki Jimny

Thinking of buying an all-new Jimny soon? Be prepared to pay more.
While browsing Suzuki Philippines’ website, we noticed that the automaker adjusted the price list of its popular mini SUV. Before, the Jimny started at just PHP 1,055,000. Now, the entry-level GL M/T Monotone has a sticker price of PHP 1,1700,000 (+PHP 115,000).
If you prefer the GL with an automatic gearbox, the GL A/T Montone now retails for PHP 1,217,000, which translates to a price hike of PHP 102,000. Interested in getting the top-of-the-line GLX A/T with a Monotone finish? Better have PHP 1,275,000 at the ready since this variant got an increase of PHP 110,000.

As for the GLX A/T with the Two-Tone exterior paint, that will cost you PHP 1,285,000. While it may only be PHP 10,000 more expensive than the Monotone version, it used to retail for only PHP 1,175,000 - meaning it also received a PHP 110,000 price hike.
At its current prices, the Jimny is now one of the most expensive models in Suzuki’s lineup, just behind the Suzuki Vitara AllGrip. When it was first launched in the country, the Jimny started at PHP 975,000 for the base model GL. Meanwhile, the top-of-the-line GLX Two-Tone retailed for PHP 1,095,000.
If you’re in the market for a small but capable 4x4, is the Suzuki Jimny still on your wish-list despite the huge price hike?
