Suzuki Eeco microvan confirmed for PH
LTO reveals Memorandum Circular for Suzuki Eeco cargo van

Earlier this year, Suzuki Philippines previewed the Eeco microvan at the 2024 Philippine Commercial Vehicle Show. While the automaker has yet to officially launch it, we already learned some of the car's features and size. These include its 1.2L engine, its spacious cargo area, and its compact size.
Fast forward to the end of 2024, the yet-to-be-launched Suzuki Eeco has received homologation details from the Land Transportation Office (LTO). Based on the recent Memorandum Circular, the Suzuki Eeco will be a cargo van that is powered by an 1197cc engine. This means just like the Indian-spec Eeco, the cargo van will get a 1.2L engine that will likely make 81 PS and 104 Nm of torque. Power will then be sent to a 5-speed manual gearbox.

Size-wise, the Eeco will measure 3675mm long, 1475mm wide, and 1825mm tall and will have a 2350mm wheelbase. It will also have 160mm of ground clearance and a curb weight of 935 kg. Based on the LTO's homologation, the Eeco van will have a payload capacity of around 605 kg. It will also have 13-inch steelies with 155 series tires.
Since it's a cargo van, the Eeco will only have two seats – one for the driver and one for the front passenger. The rest of the vehicle will have a spacious cargo area that can accommodate long and big loads.

With the Suzuki Eeco already securing LTO homologation, it might not be long before the automaker launches it. Perhaps Suzuki may reveal it before the year ends or around next year.
