Subaru's (almost) WRX STI wagon has a hashtag to its name
Subaru will roll off limited edition Levorg STI Sport # at 2023 TAS

The 2023 Tokyo Auto Salon is set to kick off in a few weeks' time. Centered around the aftermarket industry, Japanese manufacturer Subaru will showcase a modified Levorg, more commonly known as the WRX wagon locally.
Subaru has revealed the first images of the Levorg STI Sport #; and yes, it has a hashtag to its name to indicate not just sharper looks, but also sharper handling characteristics. The wagon forms part of Subaru's 7-car lineup for the 2023 Tokyo Auto Salon, which includes the all-new Impreza STI concept, BRZ GT300, and the 2023 WRX circuit and rally cars, among others.

The Japanese manufacturer says the STI Sport # is based around the Levorg STI R EX, which is powered by a 2.4-liter turbocharged boxer engine pushing out 271 horsepower. Like the WRX wagon we have in the country, the STI Sport # is only being offered with a continuously variable transmission.
For now, Subaru has not disclosed the mechanical bits and other upgrades for the STI Sport #, but promises the wagon to have “enhanced stable handling” and “premium drive feel”. The manufacturer also did not elaborate on how much, or how many will be made, but says the STI Sport # is scheduled to go on sale in limited quantities.
The 2023 Tokyo Auto Salon will be held from January 13-15, 2023 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. For those who won't be able to come to the physical event, a special section has been set up on the official Subaru YouTube page to show information on the STI booth.
