Subaru dresses up 2025 Forester, BRZ, WRX with STI style kits
Motor Image highlights STI styling for the 2025 Forester, BRZ, and WRX

It’s been a while since Subaru launched a true STI variant in its model lineup. In the past few years, the STI badging has been mostly used to highlight optional style packages instead of a high-performance version.
For 2025, the trend continues as Motor Image Enterprises, the official distributor of Subaru vehicles in Southeast Asia will showcase STI Package Editions for the Forester e-Boxer Hybrid, the BRZ sports coupe, and the WRX.

Beginning with the Forester, the crossover will feature STI-branded style enhancements that include a wraparound kit, an STI front grille, door and tailgate garnish, door visors, and 19-inch STI performance rims to boost its exterior appeal. Inside, the Forester STI Package Edition also gets an STI-branded push engine switch, an STI shift knob, STI sport pedals, and a special STI welcome light.

Meanwhile, the BRZ STI Edition features similar styling enhancements we’ve seen from last year’s MIAS. These include an STI wraparound kit, fender garnish, 18-inch STI performance wheels, a rear bumper diffuser, and an STI dry carbon rear spoiler.

Lastly, the STI package for the WRX enhances the sport sedan’s exterior appeal with its mesh-type front grille, wraparound under spoilers, rear diffuser, and 19-inch STI wheels.
These style packages appear to be a change in direction for Motor Image, as Subaru models are usually given dress-up kits under the GT Edition moniker. Now, it appears that Motor Image has stuck to using the STI moniker to highlight the aesthetic enhancements for the Subaru models.
Will we see these new STI Package Editions make their way here in the Philippines soon? Watch this space.
