Stargazer is Hyundai's upcoming Avanza fighter
First teaser photos show Stargazer's quad headlights, slim taillights, and front and rear light bars

Hyundai is about to enter the lucrative small MPV market with an all-new model. It's called the Stargazer, and it's set to take on the likes of the Toyota Avanza, Mitsubishi Xpander, Nissan Livina, and Suzuki Ertiga.
The little baby brother of the Staria will be built at Hyundai’s newly-opened Indonesia factory with specifications for that local market. As of this writing, the all-new Stargazer will initially be sold in Indonesia. Woojune Cha, President Director of PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia, said that the Stargazer will be a game-changer for their local market.
The factory aims to provide products that will address the need and characteristics of the Indonesians. He also claims that the Stargazer is set to establish a new benchmark in its class. He further stated that the MPV will be iconic and futuristic.

With a sleek one-box concept, the Stargazer marries aerodynamics with an impression of a spacious interior made possible by the one-curve design. The first teaser images released have given us a glimpse of its silhouette and a few features. These are the front horizontal DRL which its older brother Staria shares plus the distinctive “H” rear taillights at the end of the design. No other details have been mentioned yet.

If Hyundai decides to bring the Stargazer over to the Philippines, it will face fierce competition from its main rivals. Hopefully, the Indonesians take kindly to the MPV obliging Hyundai to also share it with our local market.
