Spotted: 2023 Nissan Livina arrives in PH

A couple of months ago, we were able to confirm the new Nissan Livina would be launched for the Philippine market. And more recently, we doubled down on our early information to further confirm that the new MPV from Nissan would come in three variants.

But just as Nissan is gearing up to launch the Kicks e-Power this August, apparently the Japanese company is also busy handling shipments of the Xpander's twin. Eagle-eyed car enthusiast Cedric Mark Kalalo was able to spot two trucks carrying (presumably) the first batch of the 2023 Nissan Livina fresh from the port.

Based on the photos, the Livina units have yet to receive their LTO conduction stickers, which means they won't be delivered to dealerships just yet. Instead, this batch could be on its way to Nissan's pre-delivery inspection center.

In addition, we've also noticed the variant badge was covered up, but these units could be the top-spec VL variant as it is wearing 16-inch alloy wheels like the Indonesia-spec Livina VL.

Since it is based on the Xpander, the upcoming Nissan Livina will be powered by the same 1.5-liter 4A91 engine paired to either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 4-speed automatic.

With Livina units already starting to arrive in the country, we could expect the MPV to appear at Nissan Philippines' booth, or even hold its official launch at the Philippine International Motor Show this coming September.
