Spotted: 2023 Hyundai Stargazer MPV now in PH
Hyundai's Xpander rival has arrived in the country

When Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) had its official brand launch a few months ago, they were quick to confirm they will have their own 7-seater MPV contender in the form of the Stargazer.
Back then, HMPH did not disclose when the MPV will be launched. But a recent car spotting page may have given a sign that Hyundai PH is about to officially introduce the Stargazer to the Philippine market.

Kiko Recio Bautista was able to spot a truck that was carrying (presumably) the initial batch of the 2023 Hyundai Stargazer. The baby Starias still have their badges and some body parts covered in protective plastic and do not have conduction stickers. This could mean these Stargazers are fresh off the boat and might be headed to a Hyundai facility for pre-delivery inspection.
Like its MPV rivals, the Hyundai Stargazer is powered by a 1.5-liter, four-cylinder engine that drives the front wheels. While official PH specifications are yet to be confirmed, the Stargazer could be offered with a 6-speed manual gearbox together with an intelligent variable transmission (IVT) option.

In terms of its interior features, other markets have the Stargazer available with captain seats in the second row, as well as multifunctional storage spaces like small tray tables, cupholders, extra pockets, and a picnic table in the third row.
In addition, the Hyundai Stargazer could also be equipped with the Smartsense intelligent safety systems, giving the MPV advanced driver assist features such as forward collision avoidance assist, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot collision avoidance assist, and rear cross-traffic alert.

Now that units of the Hyundai Stargazer have started to arrive in the country, there's good reason to believe it won't be long now before the 7-seater MPV makes its way to your nearest Hyundai dealerships.
