Spot the changes on 2026 Toyota Corolla Cross GR Sport

It's been nearly two years since Toyota Motor Philippines launched the refreshed Corolla Cross. Available in three distinct variants, including a Gazoo Racing Sport (GR Sport) version, the electrified crossover blends style with efficiency. But while the Corolla Cross GR Sport already looks dashing as it is, Gazoo Racing believes it can make the crossover look better.

This is the 2026 Toyota Corolla Cross GR Sport, and while it's not the European version, it still gets some neat upgrades in its latest update. Let's start with the redesigned front grille, which no longer flanks the LED headlights. Instead, it gets a simpler honeycomb design, which translates to a sleeker yet simpler appearance. Also worth mentioning on the new grille is a GR logo that complements the rest of the GR badges throughout the exterior.

The front and rear skid plates have also been updated, and it gets a slight makeover. Gone is the three-bar design, as the skid plates of the 2026 Corolla Cross GR Sport feature a simpler design that complements the air vents. Overall, the exterior changes give the electrified crossover a fresh new look.

Inside, almost everything remains the same. These include the 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, the 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, the leather upholstery with GR logos on the headrests, and the leather-wrapped steering wheel. However, the cabin now comes with more red contrast stitching throughout the interior for that extra sporty vibe.

Under the hood, the 2026 Corolla Cross GR Sport continues to be powered by a 1.8L four-cylinder engine that's assisted by an electric motor. It makes a combined 122 PS and send powers to the front wheels via an e-CVT.

With Southeast Asian markets like Thailand and Malaysia already getting the updated Corolla Cross GR Sport, perhaps the Philippines will follow suit later this year.
