SPIED: BMW iX4 spotted once more; could have up to 469 HP
Our spies managed to see the soon-to-be-revealed BMW iX4, this time in Sweden

We've already seen the upcoming BMW iX4 on two separate occasions thanks to our spy photographers. The first sighting was when our spies managed to see camouflaged prototypes being transported, while the most recent sighting saw the yet-to-be-revealed EV being driven somewhere in Germany.
Since the all-new BMW iX3 has already been revealed, we won't be surprised if the sleeker-looking iX4 will be launched next in the not-so-distant future. But for now, BMW is still busy testing the upcoming iX4, as our spies managed to spot it yet again.

This time, BMW has brought the iX4 to snowy Sweden to conduct winter & cold weather testing. Based on what our spies were able to capture, the BMW iX4's camouflage remains unchanged, but we can see a better view of its Neue Klasse design language shared with the all-new iX3.
It gets the new angular LED daytime running lights, along with the new dual-kidney grille design. The iX4 also gets sporty bumpers, a coupe-like roofline, and dynamic-looking LED taillights that complement the iX4's sleek appearance.

According to what our spies were able to gather, the BMW iX4 will be available in three distinct variants. The first models will reportedly be the 40 xDrive and 50 xDrive. The former will most likely have two electric motors albeit producing less power & torque, while the latter could get the same powertrain as the iX3 50 xDrive. That means we can expect it to come with dual electric motors that deliver a combined 469 PS and 645 Nm of torque.
Aside from the electric iX4, ICE versions of the all-new X4 are expected to be revealed, including an M60 with a powerful turbocharged inline-six and the range-topping X4 M, which could give the likes of the Porsche Macan Turbo something to think about.

Production of the yet-to-be-revealed all-new BMW iX4 (and X4) is scheduled to start in November 2026. Meanwhile, the official reveal could take place in the middle of 2026.
With that, perhaps BMW plans to reveal it after the launch of the all-new 3 Series and other next-generation/facelifted models.
