Slammed: Liberty Walk gives Mazda MX-5 ND the widebody it deserves
Liberty Walk slams the MX-5 to the ground with new LB-Works Mazda Roadster ND kit

Liberty Walk is known the world over for dressing up and “slamming” all kinds of vehicles to the ground. Thanks to their expertise in modifying bodywork and a wide array of available widebody kits, cars like the Lamborghini Aventador, Nissan GT-R, Toyota Land Cruiser, and even the Tesla have all become unique pieces of automotive art.

Now, the Mazda MX-5 (ND) has also received the Liberty Walk treatment after the Japanese tuner recently revealed a widebody kit for the roadster at the 2025 Tokyo Auto Salon. Featuring a sleeker exterior and a lowered ride height, the LB-Works Mazda Roadster ND kit gives the two-door sports car one heck of a look.

In true Liberty Walk fashion, the MX-5 ND gets the brand's signature bolt-on fenders which highlight the vehicle's wide stance. It also gets a more dynamic front splitter, a ducktail spoiler on the trunk lid, and rear skirts which makes for a more aggressive finish. Filling up the wheel wells are Meister alloy wheels that complement the bolt-on fenders.

Allowing the MX-5 ND to sit lower to the ground comes courtesy of an air suspension system. Combined with the widebody kit and stylish alloy wheels, the styling package gives the roadster more street cred.

Looking to dress up your own MX-5 ND with Liberty Walk's new widebody kit? You better have deep pockets as the entire kit will set you back JPY 467,500 or around PHP 172,370. Opt for the carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) kit and the price goes up to JPY 624,800 or about PHP 230, 380.

Do you think Liberty Walk worked its magic on the Mazda MX-5 ND? Let us know what you think in the comments.
