See the all-new Nissan Livina, Kicks e-Power at PIMS 2022

Nissan Philippines Inc (NPI) is gearing up for the 8^th Philippine International Motor Show this week. After a 4-year absence from the biennial motor show, the Japanese automaker is set to show its latest models at the World Trade Center from September 15 to September 18, 2022.

After making its official debut last week, the all-new Nissan Livina will be present at PIMS 2022. Now based on the Mitsubishi Xpander, the 7-seater MPV dons a sportier look, a more spacious cabin, and a new 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that can be mated to either a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic.

It's available in 4 distinct variants and comes with plenty of amenities like touchscreen infotainment system, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, leather or fabric seats, a color LCD multi-info display, and rear aircon vents.

Aside from the Livina, Nissan will also be showing the Kicks e-Power at this year's PIMS. First revealed back in August (we covered over 500km with the Kicks e-Power) the B-segment crossover serves as the brand's affordable hybrid that delivers an EV-like driving experience without the range anxiety associated with typical electric cars.

While the Kicks e-Power does come with a 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine, it's only there to charge the vehicle's battery pack. The battery then powers an electric motor that drives the front wheels of the Kicks – providing instantaneous torque and acceleration.

High-grade versions of the Kicks e-Power get touchscreen infotainment complete with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, leather Zero Gravity seats, USB charging ports for the rear passengers, and keyless entry with an engine start/stop button.

The Kicks e-Power is also available with a suite of driver aids called Intelligent Mobility. This gives the crossover smart safety systems that include an intelligent around-view monitor (IVM) with moving object detection (MOD), intelligent forward collision warning (IFCW), intelligent emergency braking (IEB), and driver attention alert (DAA).

The Livina starts at PHP 1.029 million while the Kicks e-Power begins at PHP 1.209 million. Get to know both vehicles when you visit their booth at PIMS 2022 this coming Saturday. Tickets for the motor show retail for PHP 200 with the first 1,000 ticket buyers getting a 50% discount every show day.
