Section of Tomas Claudio closed for Skyway link construction
Tomas Claudio St. Manila closed to traffic for four-month Skyway Stage 3 construction

Motorists crossing the Padre Jacinto Zamora bridge through the Paco-Sta. Mesa road may have to look for alternate routes for the meantime.
Starting tomorrow, August 5, a portion of Tomas Claudio street in Manila will be closed to traffic to give way for the construction of a section of Skyway Stage 3.
Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) released a traffic advisory regarding the closure and suggested alternate routes for affected motorists.

For motorists coming from Valenzuela St., Sta. Mesa going to Quirino Ave. or Beata St. in Pandacan are advised to take Ramon Magsaysay Avenue then turn left at Lacson Avenue (Nagtahan), straight ahead to Quirino Avenue or turn left at Jesus Street to their destination.
Those coming from Osmeña Highway headed to Valenzuela St. in Sta. Mesa may go straight ahead to Quirino Avenue to Mabini Bridge and to the bridge down the ramp, turn right at Ramon Magsaysay Avenue and right turn again at Valenzuela Street to their destination.
Motorists coming from Osmeña Highway going to Beata St. in Pandacan may instead go straight ahead to Quirino Avenue and turn right at Tomas Claudio Street to their destination.
Light vehicles coming from Beata St. in Pandacan going to Quirino Avenue may take Tomas Claudio Street to Quirino Avenue and to their destination.
On the other hand, long and heavy trucks and trailers headed the same way may take Jesus Street to Quirino Avenue to their destination.
The closure is scheduled to last until November 30. Once finished, the structure will link up with the NLEX-SLEX connector which is also under construction. Until then, affected motorists will have to take note of these alternate routes or think of other ways to get to their destination.
