Sebastian Vettel's Nissan GT-R Black Edition is for sale
Four-time F1 world champion Sebastian Vettel's Nissan GT-R Black Edition for sale in Germany

Now that four-time Formula One world champion Sebastian Vettel has hanged up his racing helmet, the German driver is looking to free up some space in his garage.

A 2012 Nissan GT-R Black Edition has appeared on a German car listing site called Mechatronik, and is described to be previously owned by Vettel himself. While some would not bat an eye over a used GT-R, hear this one out – Vettel's GT-R Black Edition only has 150 kilometers on the clock, and it's effectively close to brand new condition.

According to the listing, the GT-R Black Edition was delivered to Vettel in 2012 and was kept in the German driver's private collection. During that period, Vettel was in his championship years with Red Bull, which could have taken up much of his time and prevented him to explore the capabilities of the GT-R.

Finished in black, Vettel's GT-R is fitted with the exclusive 20-inch wheels made by Rays for the Black Edition version. In addition, its 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 engine produces 545 PS and 628 Nm of torque.
As expected, the GT-R Black Edition is pulling a premium with its asking price of EUR 250,000 (PHP 14.7-million) - that's a lot of money for a 10-year old GT-R. In fact, that amount of cash could have landed you a brand-new Nissan GT-R Nismo back in 2020 or even two standard GT-Rs.

But of course, given its low mileage and its famous ex-owner's credentials, it's indeed a deserving GT-R to command a price tag like that.
